Typical camp week will start with the campers meeting the horses that they will be taking care of for the week. We will go over safety procedures for being around a horse. Campers will learn how to properly care for a horse including feeding, watering, grooming and basic first aid care. Each child will be evaluated on her riding skills and will be taught accordingly. By the end of the week those who have never ridden before will have learned balance, steering and control of the horse, and those who are experienced riders will hone in on improving their already existing skills.
